Institutional verification
Institutions with an approved credential can verify records, compare artifact fingerprints and receive signed verification receipts. Access is granted by GTR. The sandbox uses synthetic data only.
Developers
Read the public verification API, then try institutional verification safely in the sandbox. Nothing here issues or changes a real record.
Public verification
Two endpoints need no credentials. Look up a record by GTRN, or match a SHA-256 fingerprint. Responses carry the same public Registry view shown on this website.

Webhooks and embeds
Webhook delivery and embeddable verification for institutions and partners are in preparation. The sandbox can simulate a signed webhook event; it never delivers one.
Limits and safety
Never place credentials in URLs. Usage limits can be applied to protect the service. The sandbox is non-production and its receipts are permanently marked as such.
